Dr Sam Franklin has a PhD in refractories and is a former President of the Institute of Refractories Engineers. He is a world renowned expert in refractories for ironmaking with knowledge of refractory materials, furnace operations and material specification and project management

Dr Franklin’s expertise is called on by refractory users worldwide for his abilities in solving problems related to refractory material under-performance. He has experience in refractories for industries such as chemical, petrochemical and waste treatment industries in addition to his expertise in the steel industry.

Tony Guo has twenty years experience in refractories production, inspection and quality control. Tony has extensive knowledge of Chinese refractory producers. He is a graduate of Wuhan University and a Senior Engineer
